how long do the balloons last?
and i think it's going to be a long, long time. paraphrasing from our pal elton john, but really the balloons do last quite a while.

of course the above times vary on the temperature, conditions and general treatment. they'll start to look a little sad and shriveled as time goes on. these are conservative estimates and we don't take responsibility for float time, and as such recommend purchasing as close to your event as possible.
our balloons float around and it was fun. HQ for about an hour before we tizz them up to ensure there are no leaks or product faults. because they're filled with helium, they will expand in warmer temperatures and may shrink in the cold. keep them in a room preferably without an air con/heater to make sure they last as long as they should.
once the balloons have been picked up or delivered they are no longer our responsibility.
what is included in the box which the recipient receives?
your balloon, a gift tag and a balloon weight to ensure the balloon doesn't fly away.
do you offer pick up?
sure do! we’re based in blackburn (3130).
why do you charge for delivery?
while we love our balloons, they’re a b**** to transport. because they’re so large and fragile, delivering them means extra care needs to be taken. Delivery costs are based on distance and what we are charged by the courier, is what you pay.
our deliveries are based on the proximity from and it was fun. HQ and are as follows:
under 5km: free
5-10km: $20
10-15km: $25
15-20km: $30
20km: $40

you're always welcome to pick up from and it was fun. HQ located in blackburn.
do you offer next day delivery?
sure do!
next-day deliveries must be placed by 12pm the day before.
we deliver monday to saturday between 12pm & 5pm.
can my delivery time be scheduled?
unfortunately not. deliveries will be dropped between 12pm & 5pm.
how do i transport the balloons if picking up?
the bigger the car you can bring the better - we want to make sure your balloons will fit!
we highly recommend collapsing your rear seats & sliding the front passenger seat forward. make sure you do a quick lil’ tidy to make sure there are no loose/sharp objects that might kill your balloon.
what if i want to cancel or amend my order?
please contact us at info@anditwasfun.com. once you've placed the order it's likely that your balloon will already be in production, but we will do all we can to help.
what size do the balloons come in?
our balloons are *notoriously* B.I.G. - they’re 51cm and will be sure to wow each recipient.
mi scusi, what about the environment?
and it was fun. are members of pro environment balloon alliance (PEBA), which means we do NOT support, condone or facilitate the organised release of balloons. in fact, in victoria it’s illegal to release balloons so it’s a big no from us.
most of our balloons are either recyclable or reusable.
our metallic balloons are reusable, so check out youtube for a quick lil tutorial on how to save these for a future par-tay.
our bubbles are made from clear stretchy plastic and are recyclable, so recycle them with other soft plastics!
we try to do what we can for the environment in our everyday life, and that includes what we do at & it was fun.
are balloons safe for lil' tots?
you know the phrase “don't work with children and animals”? balloons said that. In all seriousness though, balloons are not toys. children can choke or suffocate on deflated balloons so adult supervision is required at all times to keep your little peeps safe.
what if my balloon is damaged in transit?
all gifts are made hours before order and float in our studio to ensure they are in perfect condition. balloons are however fragile cargo so if your gift doesn't reach you as intended please get in touch & we'll work out a solution for you.
